SLEEPER CELL: AMERICAN TERROR continues the momentum from season 1 and takes it into darker directions. Too bad there is no third season because things are left at a cliffhanger. Darwin is thrusted back undercover and ends up the leader of a new terrorist sleeper cell. Farik gets tortured and escapes when he is sent back to Saudi Arabi. The lives of the terrorists are very complex. They're all very human and yet very damaged people. The damage on their lives by others have led them to this point. Ilija tries to put his terrorist past away only to be sucked back in. The writing is driven by the characters.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
One audio commentary was recorded for the first episode.

All other extras appear on disc 3-
INFLITRATING THE FINAL CELL- A behind-the-scenes look at the writing and production of the final episode.
THE ENEMY WITHIN- a recap of season 1, a preview of season 2, and star Michael Ealy having a discussion with two of the show's consultants (former FBI agents).

FARIK'S STORY- about a hour and a half long. The film pieces together all of the Farik scenes from season 2 and present them as a film.

Biographies fro several actors and the show's creators are also featured on disc 3 in addition to previews for other Showtime series.

FINAL ANALYSIS: SLEEPER CELL is a a fantastic character driven drama. I want a third season to resolve things left hanging at the end of REUNION.
