Mel and Jules are two friends who have arrived at the airport after a trip to Mexico.  They want to get home and they take a shuttle which begins a night of Hell for them and the two guys they just met.  They are at the mercy of a crazy shuttle driver who has his own plans for the two girls.   Now Mel and Jules must survive the night and hopefully escape in one piece.  SHUTTLE starts out good before getting on my nerves for twenty minutes before redeeming itself in the second half.  SHUTTLE isn’t a perfect film.  The actions of the four people do irritate me for the first half before they finally get some sense back in them.  The ending is a downer and that is all I will say about that.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Casting sessions for every main character is included on this disc.   The Behind-The-Scenes featurette is a very brief look at the making of the film with interviews from two of the crew and a couple of the cast members.   I wish it was longer or an audio commentary was recorded for the film instead.   The deleted scenes basically amount to material cut for pacing reasons.   Also included is the trailer for the film and the trailer for THE MUTANT CHRONICLES is on the disc before you reach the main menu.

FINAL ANALYSIS:  SHUTTLE is a time passer.  Sometimes it is a great thriller with a few moments that just don’t work for me.
