RIGHTEOUS KILL is a disaster. It starts out wrong and ends wrong. The rest of it is OK to pass the time. It was entertaining enough, but I wish more thought went into the script. Apparently giving away who is the killer at the beginning isn't a wise movie for this film buff. I love a little mystery to who is knocking off criminals who were let free by the criminal justice system. Two veteran cops (Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro) are investigating these murders when another pair of cops have their sights set on one of them when it looks like a cop is the one behind the murders. Then you have the ending which is essentially an ending that those who hated the ending of HEAT will loathe it.
