NCIS Season Five continues to develop the core characters. We get answers to what happened in season 4 with Tony. Also REQUIEM takes a little look at the past of Gibbs (RQUIEM is the show's highest rated episode). Then the season ends with a bang as one of the characters meets their maker (and sets up for a change of the status quo that will be continued in season 6). Season 5 is the first season without Executive Producer Donald P. Bellisario (who mark Harmon didn't get along with anymore).

SPECIAL FEATURES:
Audio commentaries for
BURY YOUR DEAD with Michael Weatherly and Patricia H. O'Hara
REQUIEM with Mark Harmon and and Shane Brennan
DOG TAGS with David McCallum and Brian Dietzen
RECOIL with Cote de Pablo and James Whitmore, Jr.

Featurettes:
REQUIEM REVISITED (DISC 2)- analysis of the episode by Shane Brennan and a behind-the-scenes look at what would become the first three minutes of the episode.

The rest of the fetaurettes are on disc five-
N.C.I.S. SEASON 5: STEM TO STERN- Not many spoilers here. Cast and crew talk about the development of the characters and they also reflect a little on season 4. Plus a look at the 100th episode party.
THE DRESSING ROOM: THE COSTUMES AND WARDROBE OF N.C.I.S.- a look at the costume and wardrobe department. they talk about the clothes for each character.
N.C.I.S ON LOCATION- a look at location scouting of the series as they talk about the locations they found for STAKEOUT.
FROM PAULEY TO ABBY: HAIRSPRAY, LIPSTICK AND TATTOOS-
Take a trip with Pauley as she gets ready to play Abby for the day. She is a blond and has her hair dyed black. The neck tatoo she wants the writers to write out (without success) and also learn why Abby gets braids or pony tails in certain episodes.

FINAL ANALYSIS: NCIS is still a strong quirky crime drama. The featurettes aren't bad and the cast continue to contribute to the audio commentaries.
