The second season of FRIDAY THE 13TH the series is better than the first.  Iam enjoying it more.   The characters do feel the consequences of their actions as the Devil sends people to stop them (DOORWAY TO HELL, WEDDING IN BLACK) and even effects the ones they love.   This season sees such guest stars liek Colm Foere, James Russo, Vanity, J.G. Armstrong back as the evil Uncle Lewis, and FOREVER KNIGHT actors Nigel Bennett (as an evil Nazi back from the dead in an episode missing two of the three leads) and Catherine Disher (back as an evil character this time).   Some of the same things do plague the stories over and over again like say goodbye to Ryan's latest girlfriend or they are after another cursed artifact sold by Curious Goods.   Fortunately, they have been a little more creative.

I just wonder if season 3 will explore Micki's newfound witch powers she used in the season 2 finale.   It is interesting to see how Ryan has become attached to Micki when she is killed in one episode and he even goes out of the way to say he can't go after the cursed objects without her.  Jack Marshak is my favorite character on the show.  Chris Wiggins puts much ability in showing Jack's emotions.   The second season sees jack, Ryan, and Micki feel more like afamily that cares for each other as they face a quest a that could mean the end for one or all of them at any time.   Also the music by Fred Mollin (best known for scoring the FOREVER KNIGHT TV series) is still a welcome part of each episode. Shame there are no extras included.
