A shy accountant, Jonathan, make friends with Wyatt(a lawyer) while doing the books for several law firms. He ends up with the Wyatt's phone by accident. he starts getting calls and discovers a list for a sex club. He starts using the list. The rules are simple- no names and no rough stuff. The person who enages the encounter covers for the room. One of the people on the list is someone he encountered at the subway. He doesn't know her name- only that her name starts with an S.They get together twice. Then she is kidnapped on the second time. Jonathan is told to access phantom accounts at a law firm and transfer them to a bank in Spain. if he doesn't, the woman dies.

DECEPTION is a film that takes a while to set itself up. The set-up is necessary for the pay-off. The final 20 minutes are a little predictable, but DECEPTION is a solid thriller. It is about a man finding new desires only to find love. It also explores what people will do for money and for love. DECEPTION does feature some full frontal female nudity. Italso features solid acting from McGregor and Jackman. It might not be the best film either man has been in, but it isn't their worst either. DECEPTION won't do well at the theater, but yet it will do well in rentals.
