THE STRANGERS
movie review by David Blackwell

82 minutes, Rated R
ASPECT RATIO: 2.35:1

STUDIO: Rogue Pictures/ Intrepid Pictures
Theatrical RELEASE DATE: 5-30-2008

THE STRANGERS revolves around a couple that come to a remote summer home only to be terrorized by three strangers. THE STRANGERS is one of the most of terrifying films of this year. It will be hard for any horror film to top it this year. The combination of sound, music, and people that go bump in the dark amps the tension. A few may say it doesn't feature enough kills, but THE STRANGERS is about two people trying to survive as the strangers toy with them. This film is inspired by true events. The beginning of the movie says not all is known about what happened that night. Also you never see the faces of the strangers that well. You only see them clearly when they're wearing masks. I hope they don't do a sequel to THE STRANGERS even though it is set up for one.
