REPRISE is funny and emotional. It is filmed in teh French New Wave style and has some humore like French film Amelie does. REPRISE is about two friends, Phillip and Erik, who want to be published. Phillip gets published first and can't handle it. He has a breakdown and ends up in a mental hospital. When he gets out, he tries to hook up again with his girlfriend Kari. Meanwhile, Erik finally has a book accepted for publication. Phillip continues to struggle as he nears closer to breaking Kari's heart again.

The story and characters feel organic. Porno Lars is cruel and yet funny. The reclusive author (Sten Egil Dahl) Erik and Phillip are fans of make a nice add to the film. This movie is about how young adults leave behind past close friendships as they progress into older more mature lives. However, the wrenching relationship between Phillip and Kari is the best thing about REPRISE. Their relationship is never easy as they try to come to grips with what they want from each other.
